Calcining

Providing accurate product temperature measurements for clacining processes. BASF has developed breakthrough sensor technology to accurately measure product temperature in dusty processes. While infrared (IR) instruments have failed to accurately measure product temperature inside kilns, EXACTUS® sensors work. Reliably controlling the calcining process using the most critical variable, product temperature, optimizes fuel utilization, minimizes poor quality product, optimizes product throughout, and minimizes environmental impact.

Offering global refining capabilities: Allow us to be your partner of choice

We have refineries located within the United States and Europe with the ability to provide full global refining services at no extra charge. We not only refine precious metals, but we have the capability of refining unique items such as crucibles and large ceramic bottom blocks. Other suppliers do not have direct refining capabilities and therefore require third party support for their refining needs, resulting in added cost and time to the refining process.

Providing our precious metal expertise

We provide full precious metal (PM) management services through our secure Pool Account Management system, providing you with benefits like PM buying and selling, PM leasing, and access to a secured vault. Because of our refining capabilities and benefits, BASF offers some of the lowest retentions in the industry.
