Spherical Catalysts Carriers

Building on our core competencies in materials science and surface chemistry, BASF offers a wide variety of catalyst substrate spheres. Wide range of spherical porous carriers are available to meet the needs of heterogeneous catalyst manufacturers. Substrate selection is critical, and requires well-defined physical and chemical properties of the chosen carrier. BASF produces catalyst support spheres with unique and controlled manufacturing processes to provide suitable carriers for numerous applications. Spheres are available in a range of properties - nearly inert to highly active surface chemistry. Surface properties, porosity, reactivity, stability and mechanical strength are controlled through proprietary manufacturing processes and can be fine-tuned as per customer’s request.
