H0-42

BASF Catalyst H0-42 S3 was developed for the liquid phase selective hydrogenation of butadiene in C4 cuts, e. g. BASF’s SELOP® C4 process. The catalyst shows very low isomerisation activity while giving low over-hydrogenation. It is applied for high butene-1 production from feed streams with high butadiene contents e.g. raw C4 from an ethylene cracker. Furthermore, H0-42 is able to hydrogenate selectively Vinylacetylene in presence of 1.3- Butadiene.
