0.75% Pd/AS R 5079 is designed for fixed bed hydrogenation applications such as the selective hydrogenation of phenol. This palladium on alumina catalyst is specially formulated for fixed bed hydrogenation where controlled pore size and tailored Pd dispersion are critical. The catalyst spheres are characterized by a high mechanical strength, low pressure drop in the reactors and therefore also a high resistance to breakage during their utilization.

0.9% Pd/ACS R 1% Na DOPED is suited for fixed bed hydrogenation applications such as the selective hydrogenation of phenol to cyclohexanone (one step process). This palladium on alumina catalyst is specially formulated for fixed bed hydrogenation applications where controlled pore size and tailored Pd dispersion are critical. The star shaped form enhances the geometric surface area, maximizing the catalytic performance and catalyst lifetime.
