Deoxo™ FTIS / OBIGGS Catalytic Ozone Converter

The air separation system for FTIS/ OBIGGS is a safety feature for commercial aircraft mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). FTIS/OBIGGS use an Air Separation Module (ASM) to separate nitrogen from the air. The nitrogen is blanketed over the fuel in the tank to lower the risk of explosions. FTIS/OBIGGS require an ozone converter to protect the membrane inside the ASM from decomposition by ozone.
