For nearly 40 years, BASF has met the ever-evolving challenge of supplying optimum cabin-air quality, with our Deoxo Ozone and Ozone+VOC converters—found worldwide on commercial passenger planes, regional jets, and corporate jets.

Our converters remove harmful ozone and volatile organic compounds (VOC) from the bleed air, in compliance with Federal and International Regulations, and with the comfort of passengers and crew in mind. In fact, our Ozone+VOC converters are the only converters flying today that remove odor-causing VOCs.

Proven expertise to give you optimum cabin air quality

BASF Catalysts | Interior Cabin

As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), BASF leverages global-catalyst expertise, best practices, and proven maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) procedures to maximize your investment in cabin air quality. When you work with BASF, you work with a proven MRO service provider that ensures converter integrity on every level.

BASF not only provides converters to aircraft manufacturers, but airlines can purchase the converters directly as upgrades or replacements.

Products we offer:

Aircraft Cabin Ozone Converters
BASF's Deoxo offerings are low-cost, lightweight, easy-to-install units that maintain a healthy cabin environment, and provide improved comfort for passengers, pilots, and flight attendants. The air at high altitude contains high levels of ozone. Symptoms caused by ozone exposure include headache, fatigue, chest pain, and nausea. You don’t want to be on an airplane without Deoxo technology.

Aircraft Cabin Ozone+VOC Converters
BASF also offers Deoxo Ozone+VOC converters to reduce both harmful ozone and odor-causing Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in aircraft cabin air. This technology improves the air quality, such as the smell of jet fuel in the cabin while at the gate, taxiing, or during take-off.
