Contact Thermocouples

Our contact temperature probes include high temperature thermocouples, platinum thermocouples, noble metal thermocouples, thermocouples for the glass industry, profile and spike thermocouples for diffusion furnaces, high temperature industrial thermocouples, furnace thermocouples, and high temperature thermocouple wire and cable. We also produce epitaxial thermocouples. Our extremely wide range of products includes many that can be custom-tailored to specific customer applications.

BASF supplies precious metal thermocouples using R, S, B, PII, C and K-type wires. This includes type R thermocouples, type S thermocouples and type B thermocouples.

Platinel® is proprietary to BASF. We produce profile thermocouples with 0.020-inch wire that delivers a longer life span. And, we offer a scrap metal return program whereby old thermocouples are returned for future orders or cash.

Glass Industry Thermocouples have been a specialty of BASF for many years. We have grown with the industry and, as glass technology requirements have expanded and changed over the years.
