Did you know there can be 5x more air pollution inside your house than outside of it? Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants. Understanding and controlling common pollutants indoors can help reduce risk of indoor health concerns. BASF offers the widest portfolio of adsorbent technologies for a broad spectrum of applications in industries such as refining, petrochemical, chemical, and gas processing. BASF Catalysts | Confidentiality

A BASF custom catalyst is a catalyst developed or co-developed by a BASF customer with full confidentiality and intellectual property (IP) protection. The IP ownership resides with the inventing party with possible joint patent positions. We recognize our customer's Intellectual Property (IP) is important. Therefore, we have established a successful protocol which includes:

  • Establishment of legal agreements for IP Protection
  • Internal "Firewall" protection
  • Limitation of information dissemination on a "need-to-know" basis
  • Project teams chosen to avoid conflicts of interest

At BASF, we combine a comprehensive portfolio of proven custom catalyst manufacturing services with an infrastructure of knowledgeable chemists and researchers. That’s how we turn catalysts into commercial reality.

From manufacturing to development, BASF has the foundation to support even the most challenging design and processing requirements. With our assets and resources, we have the ability for rapid scale-up and mass production in a cost-efficient manner.
